Kayra Intellligence, Inc is an AI company that conducts "surround scans" of vehicles to diagnose a car's maintenance and repair needs.

The Company stands to revolutionize the multi-site car rental industry, car-share industry, and light care-maintenance industries by streamlining vehicular inspections, identifying maintenance or repair needs (paintless dent repairs, damaged lenses, brakes, tire treads/rotations, window repair) and average ticket upsells.

The Company is a proven value case for rental car companies, used car vendors, car manufacturers (quality assurance) insurance companies (mitigating fraud) and security (examining the undercarriage or excess weight).  The Subject Company has an impressive list of inaugural clients (in Europe) including Avis, and recently is installing its technology at the Ford Motors/Otosan manufacturing factory in Europe (2024) for a long term quality assurance partnership (higher accuracy, faster diagnoses, and less personnel "man-hours" was the value proposition).

In the US, the Company has significant penetration in the rntal car marketplace as a use case. Kayra will deploy its systems incrementally in a shared revenue pricing model with expectations to reach 200 locations by 2029.  The upsells are 'found money’ for the retailer with de minimus customer acquisition costs.

Most important for product adoption, Kayra utilizes an open architecture (unlike the largest competitor). Kayra does not require a six-figure hardware tunnel purchase or heavy civil works. Kayra runs via API on standard, low-cost IP onsite cameras the client already owns or mobile devices already in the operator's hands. It is also strictly pay-as-you-go, lowering the barrier to engagement.

Our value prop to clients is a target 5x return on automated operating cost. For a real-time example, one of our partners is a 200-vehicle-per-day operation in New York. Manual walk-arounds cost roughly $3,300 daily in labor. [2 people, 10 minutes/60 x $50/hour]. Kayra automated inspection handles the same corpus of inspections more accurately and at $600.

Inventory-management and reconditioning streams would benefit similarly. For every car that rolls on our off the "lot" you would have a full automated diagnostic report of every vehicle’s condition. In addition, Kayra APIs can estimate the repair cost by integrating with your enterprise software or professional estimate providers (ie CCC, Mitchell, Audatex). Or use Kayra proprietary algorithms to save/reduce those fees.

Our underlying technology moat is a proprietary, multi-year corpus of more than 11 million labeled vehicle images. The platform is fully modular and supports:

  • Vehicle detection — make, model, and class identification

  • Parts detection — component-level identification for repair cost estimation

  • Damage detection — dents, scratches, paint defects, body damage

  • License plate + Registration recognition — unique vehicle identification across scans

  • GDPR-compliant face blurring — privacy preservation in scan backgrounds

  • Undercarriage inspection — leaks, rust, structural damage

  • Tire tread depth analysis — automated wear assessment for service recommendations

In multi site retail it stands to increase the average ticket by identifying maintenance needs real time.... The Company can provide the hardware by subscription, or ostensibly free (with revenue share for upsells), and provide unlimited on-site scans for a nominal subscription.  The opportunity for upsells in the average ticket is great.
