United Glass Systems Forms a Joint Venture with International Dominican Aluminum.  The joint venture is a ‘value-add’ vertical integration of windows manufacture and installation.

Miami, FL, August 23, 2016:  Pennoyer Partners announces the formation of United Glass International Aluminum (“UGIA”), a joint venture between United Glass Systems ("UGS") (unitedglasssystems.com), and International Dominican Aluminum (“IDA,”)

The UGIA joint venture vertically integrates the commercial design, fabrication and installation of architectural glass, window, curtain-wall, storefronts, railings and aluminum panels.  The joint venture therefore provides a fully-integrated offering of bespoke products and services to building developers and contractors as a one-stop shop for design/engineering, manufacture and installation of the building envelope. 
 
UGIA is a producer of proprietary aluminum extrusion manufacture, which enables custom systems and UGIA proprietary products, along with high-capacity painting lines.  UGIA owns state-of-the -art manufacturing facilities and is in the process of increasing production capability by twenty percent.  The company’s efficient manufacture infrastructure is highly competitive.  The combined attributes of the joint venture result in what amounts to a high value add to the developer:  high capacity, premium quality and competitive pricing.

International Dominican Aluminum is the largest Aluminum extruder in the Caribbean with an annual production of 16 million pounds of extruded aluminum per annum.  IDA personnel have extensive experience in the aluminum extrusion business:  the facility covers an area of 22,500 square meters and has 200 employees, located in the city of Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic.  IDA has two production lines -- with a third on the way -- with extrusion presses and powder paint lines of the best quality in the market.
